One of the most sought after key date Morgan Silver Dollars is the 1895-P (Philadelphia ) proofs. According to the U.S. Mint, 12,000 Morgan Silver Dollars were struck in 1895 at the Philadelphia mint, however there are no existing examples of this coin. However there were also 880 Morgan Dollar proofs at the Philadelphia mint. Of the 880 proofs reported only about 75 to 100 have been accounted for.
