A dual mint mark is another design mint mark re-punched over the original one. It could be the same branch like an S over another S or you can end up with something like the S in the center of the O. The 1882 O O/S has exactly that actually so far five varieties have been found with the 1882 Morgan Dollar from New Orleans.

2. S flush with the O
3. Broken S in the center of O
4. Line in center of O
5. Diagonal tear drop in center of O
approximately 150,000 were struck for each of those varieties.
